Greg and his wife Patti have been sweethearts since Junior High. They currently reside in Big Sandy, Alabama, just outside of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, together with their four children. They enjoy their involvement with their extended family at Valley View Baptist Church of Tuscaloosa. Greg comes from a long line of musical talent. As a child, he learned to sing harmony with his mother and family at holiday gatherings in Alabama. He has performed with greats such as "The Southmen" and as a lead singer for the "Blackwood Quartet." He's been heard on over 60 radio jingles and has provided backup vocals on numerous recording sessions. Greg works over 100 dates a year in churches of all denominations doing concerts. He also performs at schools, weddings, and at many special events. Crowe teamed up with "Time For Joy Productions, Inc." who engaged Grammy Award-Winning producer, Gary S. Paxton, to produce the music for his CD. "The greatest feeling in the world is being a part of a group of people who believe in the same purpose, same passion, and same goalto have a ministry that touches all people," Crowe says with a warm smile. "It is about a ministry that reaches beyond race, music style, or a certain religion. I believe this CD has accomplished all of these goals and we are going to see lives changed everywhere God sends us." Features include: Greg Voice Magazine * GJ Magazine * Paul Heil and the Gospel Greats * James Dobson Radio * Sunday in America * "When God Made You" featured on Christian World Wedding Tracks * Heavy airplay and charting across the United States
Gary S. Paxton "My idea of a great ministry is one that can sing several styles and relate to all ages. I feel that we sometimes single out one group of people, when in fact, we need to minister to everyone. If God uses me to touch someone and make a difference in their life, I would feel I have accomplished what God wanted. You know, if all I do is sing well, make people laugh, shake hands and go home, then I have failed miserably. There has to be some substance. Pastors can't afford to bring performers into their church that do not minister. That is what makes us different from any other type of music. We have to share God's word and help it stick. People are starving for something real and I want people to remember me as being real. When they hear my music, I want it to lead them to the throne of God. I want to live out the Psalm that says, 'O God, you are my God, and earnestly I seek you.'" Greg Crowe |
